Established in 1879, McBean’s has been at the forefront of British Orchid cultivation, welcoming visitors to our nursery just below the South Downs, a short walk from Cooksbridge train station & a couple of miles north of the historic town of Lewes, East Sussex.

We grow some of the most spectacular orchids, winning over 80 gold medals at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, we are known for producing outstanding quality orchids, specialising in Cymbidiums & cool growing Oncidiums.

The best time to visit to see the nursery in flower is between December & May.
